Ian Betteridge is a journalist and editor with over ten years experience in a wide range of publications, both consumer and contract. A former editor of MacUser magazine, I’ve also worked for Macworld, MacFormat, PC Pro, Computer Buyer, Custom PC, Computer Shopper, Ariel, and many others along the way.
As well as working on a lot of print titles, I’ve also written for and edited several web sites. Before taking up my present position, I was a regular contributor to eWeek, and launch edited the sadly-gone Extremeipod.com.
I’ve been blogging since 2002, which makes me almost a Scoble-esque veteran. My main blog , where I talk mostly about technology, can be found here. I also post stuff here, too – subscribe to both today!
I currently work for Redwood, which is one of the UK’s leading contract publishing groups and part of the behemoth which is AMV Group. Our client roster at Redwood includes Marks and Spencer, BT, British Gas, Boots, Virgin Media and many others. My primary work machine is an Apple MacBook Pro, which regularly has linked to it an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and LaCie 320GB drive. I also use an Apple Bluetooth Wireless keyboard and Wireless Mighty Mouse.
