On the left of this picture are the two remaining towers from the World Trade Center complex, which were left standing after 9/11. This was the first time I'd been back to New York since the bombing, and it had a very emotional effect on me just seeing the skyline without those two, great buildings. Going to the site of ground zero itself filled me with even more pain - there was a hard-to-describe feeling there, a feeling of loss.
